| Time | The midterm exam will be held in class Friday March 1. You will have the usual class time, 50 mintues, to answer the questions. |

| Topics | The material covered is everthing through the discussion of special relativity. All lecture and homework material through this time is fair game. |
| What to Bring |
Bring yourself, well-rested, a pencil--or better, two pencils, and a calculator. You may bring notes of any kind, but the exam is closed book. |
| Question Format | The homework questions serve as a guide for the kind of topics and questions the instructor considers to be important. Of course, given the time constriants of the exam, the problems will not generally be as involved as homework problems, but rather the questions will emphasize an understanding of how to apply and interpret the tools we have developed. |
