Companion Animals Club


This club pursues the better relationship with companion animals. It founded by the students from the animal sciences department.They have several meetings and field trips each semester, and they also provide volunteer opportunities, dog wash day, and some social events throughout the year.


Illini Equine Rescue Society


The main goal of this organization is to help and save abused, starved, and unwanted horses. The organization cooperate with both the Society of Hooved Animals Rescue and Emergency(SHARE) and Crosswinds Equine Rescue.

Illini Wildlife and Conservation Club


The Illini Wildlife and Conservation Club is promotes the wildlife care, conservation, and wildlife and exotic veterinary medicine. The club hosts monthly meeting and several social events such as visit St. Louis Zoo and the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Indiana.



Teachers 4 Creatures


This club have five committees interacting with the local community in order to improve knowledge about companion animals. The five committees focus on different aspects about their goals which are anti-breed discrimination, puppy mill education, exotic animals, animal-assisted activities, and feline overpopulation.
