thirteen challenges
If you are having trouble aggregating (bringing together) your researched information, try this trick:
  1. Write down on Post-It Notes™:
    • The major claims of your arguments, and
    • The warrants and/or grounds which support those major claims
  2. Now, arrange and re-arrange those Post-It Notes™ on a flat surface
    • and stop arranging when the order of the notes seems to make sense (to you)
  3. Then ask yourself,
  4. Repeat steps 3 and 4—as needed—until you are ready to write your preliminary arrangement draft.
