Thirteen Challenges
Indent a Whole Paragraph

Using the "Tab" key to indent each line of
a long quotation is tedious.

Treat the quote as a paragraph and use the "Indentation" function to indent that whole paragraph.

Start with this:

quote before

End up with this:
quote after

Here's one way:

  1. Highlight the paragraph(s) you want to change
  2. Right click to bring up a list of options, and
  3. Select "Paragraph" to bring up the paragraph dialog box (shown to the right)
  4. Use the "Indentation" section to indent the whole paragraph from the "Left" and/or "Right" margin.
