As a consequence of (an effective instance of) Peer Response, the writer receives:

• Answers to the questions the writer posed to the peer, and
• Suggestions (made from the peer's perspective) on how to improve and/or expand the draft.

Now, the writer has to decide what to do with those answers and suggestions.

The Writer is Accountable

Since the writer is accountable for the content of the text being created,

• the writer has the right to pick-and-choose among the answers and suggestions supplied by a peer.

However, when doing that picking and choosing, it is alway good for the writer to remember the reason(s) for doing peer response.
