Phishing Scam

Have you ever received a sketchy email that was supposedly from a big name company? Did said email ask you to follow a link and enter your password? If so, you've been phished! Below is an example of a common phishing scam.

Subject: Suspicious Activity
To: Undisclosed recipients
Reply to: bmoharris@yahoo.com

Dear valued BMO Harris Bank customer,


We have been notified that you have recently attemtped to withdraw an amount of $500.00 from your savings account on Sunday, February 4th, 2018 while in another country.

If this information is incorrect, someone may have been trying to get into your account. For safety measures, please follow this link to verify or update your personal information.

Once this is done, our fraud department will work to resolve this issue. We sincerely thank you for doing business with us.
