ESL 110/510
English Pronunciation for Academic Purposes
Daily Assignments
Sections F (3:00) will be one hour ahead of section C (10:00).
If you are in Sections F, the dates of your assignments are in the orange
box; if you are in Section C, the dates of your assignments are in the blue
box.
When the assignment uses the abbreviation "t", it means the
Speechcraft textbook, Discourse Pronunciation for Advanced Learners.
When the assignment uses the abbreviation "wb", it means the Speechcraft
workbook, Workbook for Academic Discourse.
If you would like to download the web-based assignment pages for a week at
a time, instead of daily, you may do so by clicking on Download Assignment Pages
next to the week number. Otherwise, you can download assignment pages one by
one. In the syllabus, an assignment preceded by an asterisk
(*) is optional; you may hand it in or not. Optional assignments are included in
the materials you can download a week at a time.
Exercise assignments are due in class on the day noted
in the syllabus. Audio recordings are due in your personal Dropbox by
midnight on the due date. As noted in the
Grading Policy, assignment and recordings submitted after the
due date and time will not be counted or graded.
